3 - Enhanced Results
Enhanced search results include the metadata configured during Index creation, providing a more polished and user-friendly experience. Once your Index has synced with the configured CSS Metadata Selectors, the Raffle API automatically includes this metadata in the metadata
field of search results.
What Enhanced Results Look Like
Enriched search results contain structured metadata, offering more context and better presentation. For example:
-
Before Metadata Configuration:
A result might show only raw text content:“AI case studies have been compiled by the education group to highlight usage.”
-
After Metadata Configuration:
The result is enriched with structured metadata, such as:- Title: “AI Usage in Education”
- Description: “AI case studies compiled to highlight educational advancements in 2023.”
- Date: “2023-10-15”
- Image: A relevant thumbnail for visual context.
These enhancements make results clearer, visually appealing, and easier to understand.
Why Use Enhanced Results?
Enriched metadata enhances search results by:
- Improving Readability: Structured summaries replace raw content snippets.
- Adding Context: Metadata like dates and images provide a richer experience.
- Enhancing Presentation: Results appear more polished and professional, improving user satisfaction.
What to Expect
Once your Index syncs with the new configuration:
- Results will automatically include the enriched metadata in the
metadata
field. - You can query these results through your API User Interface without additional changes.
