Quick Start

This guide takes you from a new account to a working chat assistant on your website. The setup takes a few minutes.

Sign up

Go to app.raffle.ai/signup. The first 30 days are free.

1. Enter your work email. Addresses from free email providers aren’t accepted.
2. Create a password of at least 12 characters.
3. Tick the box to confirm that you are neither a consumer nor a competitive business.
4. Click Create account.

Already have an account? Click Login below the form.

Set up your first chat assistant

After signing up, Raffle walks you through a short setup.

Add your website

1. Enter your First Name and Last Name.
2. Under Which website should we use as information source?, enter the address of your website, for example your-website.com. Raffle checks that it can read the website.
3. Click Continue, check the address and click Confirm. You can’t change this website later, so make sure it’s correct.

Raffle starts reading your website straight away. It uses the content as the source for your answers, and creates two widgets for you: Chat, a launcher with the chat assistant, and Search, an overlay search.

Match your brand

Pick your Brand Color and Text accent color, and upload your company logo. Use Custom Logo Height to resize it. The widget in the background shows your changes.

Set up the chat assistant

• Welcome Message is the first message your visitors see in the chat.
• Multilingual Chat lets the assistant answer in the language of the question. For example, if your website is in English and a visitor asks in Italian, the answer is in Italian.
• Tone of voice sets the style of the answers: Formal or Informal.

Click Continue on each step, or I’ll do this later to skip it. You can change all of these settings later in the widget’s Branding and Chat tabs.

Done

Click Take me to my workspace to start using Raffle.

Install the widget on your website

1. Go to Widgets and open the widget.
2. Click Install at the top of the page.
3. Click Copy script and paste the code inside the <head> tag of your website.

Follow how Raffle is used

Once visitors start asking questions, open Insights to see how many questions they ask, which answers they click and where your content has gaps. See the Insights overview.

Log in

1. Go to app.raffle.ai/login.
2. Click Continue with Google, or Continue with work email. Continue with Google only works once you have an account: you can’t sign up with Google.
3. For work email, enter your email address and click Next, then enter your password and click Log in.

If two-factor authentication is required for your account, you’re then asked for a code from your authenticator app.

Reset your password

1. On the password step of the login, click Reset password.
2. Enter your work email and click Reset password.
3. Open the email from Raffle and click the link in it.
4. Create your new password and click Change password. Then log in with the new password.
