Instant Answers

Write your own answers for questions your website doesn’t cover, with the questions they answer, a fallback link and buttons.

Instant Answers are answers you write yourself in Raffle. Use them when visitors ask about something your website doesn’t cover, to promote new information, or to send visitors somewhere specific, such as your support page. If the right content is already on your website but doesn’t come first, use Re-rank instead.

Each answer has a title, the answer text, a fallback URL and, ideally, a list of questions it answers. There is no limit to the number of Instant Answers in an account.

Instant Answers live in a source of the type Instant Answers. If you don’t have one yet, click Add new source on the Sources page and choose Instant Answers. Then connect the source to your widgets under Widget sources, or the widgets won’t use its answers.

Questions are how visitors’ searches find your answer: when a search matches one of the questions word for word, the answer is boosted to the top. Add the questions visitors actually ask, in their words. Questions take effect as soon as you save them.

Edit an Instant Answer

Click Edit next to an answer. Make your changes and click Update, or click Delete to remove the answer. Cancel closes the dialog without saving.

Click the pencil icon to edit a button, or the trash icon to delete it.

Turn on Support Button to show a support button with the answer, and change its text if you like (default: Go to Support). It uses the support options set up for your widget.
