The Sources tab controls who a widget is for and which content it answers from. For example, some content may only be meant for people inside your organisation.
Changes only take effect when you click Save at the top of the page.
The Sources tab with the Privacy, Sources and MCP tools cards
When you switch a widget to Public use, its internal sources are turned off, and you can’t select them while the widget is public.
The list shows every source in your account with its type and the number of articles it holds. Turn a source on to include it in the widget’s answers. Turn on several sources to search across all of them at once.
If you have connected MCP servers, this card lists the tools chat can call in this widget. Turn on the tools you want to allow. The tools are only used when chat is on for the widget; otherwise the card shows a warning with a link to turn chat on. If you haven’t connected an MCP server yet, click Add MCP server.
